Underwater photography workshops are open to all divers, beginner through advanced, and camera systems vary from 'point and shoot' through 'SLR'.
The workshop comprises of a theory session, and is not a certification class.
For those who prefer the full PADI specialty certification, go ahead and do the workshop and you are halfway there!
Simply upgrade (extra charge applies) to the PADI Digital Underwater Specialty after having done the 'Bittenbysharks workshop' (dives and accommodation excluded ).
The requirement for the Specialty certification is two dives with the Instructor (either Claudia or Leon) during one of their local or overseas trips; and the result is a PADI Digital Underwater Photographer certification.
The same applies to the videography workshops, which can be done separately, or in combination with the PADI Videography Specialty; the requirement for the Specialty certification is two dives with the Instructor (either Claudia or Leon) during any of their local or overseas trips.
While the workshop on its own dramatically improves your techniques, the ocean dives with your Instructor really 'clinch the deal'.
The difference in your photographs will be night and day!

These workshops are extremely popular and space is limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
We are flexible and can do the workshop at your club/school venue, in any part of southern africa - minimum 10 participants. Contact us directly for more details.
Optional 2-hour pool sessions are available at R300pp, min 2 persons.
