WANTED:
A real adventurer who is totally self sufficient with 4X4, own camping gear, food and dive equipment to venture into the unknown to a place called "Ponta Dobela", where there are some of the most beautiful untouched and un-dived reefs known to only a privileged few . There are simply no people here, we will have the entire bay to ourselves!
WHEN?:
WEDNESDAY 5 MARCH - SUNDAY 9 MARCH 2008. We will meet at the Kosi Bay border post at 12h00 for a quick briefing and drive up in convoy past Ponta Mamoli to Dobela where we will get our campsite ready before nightfall. The drive time will be between 2 - 2.5 hours.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
We will arrange a boat with fuel and a compressor. There will be a rough, warm water shower and a western style camp toilet.
Expect spectacular reefs with some of the biggest schools of king fish that you have ever seen!
WHAT TO BRING?
Everything you need for a real bush camping safari in the middle of nowhere.
Tent & sleeping gear.
Your own drinking water.
Food and beverages. (this is not a 'drinking' trip, but more of a 'real diving' trip!!)
Toilet paper.
Mosquito repellant.
All your dive gear and a full cylinder. ( after first dive, cylinders will be filled on site)
Enough batteries for your camera or a converter for charging.
A small generator- if you have it and if you can fit it in??
WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED?
No caravans - you will probably make it there, but not back!!!
The road is bad; make sure your trailer can handle it - it is advisable to go without.

SKIPPER/DIVE GUIDE
We are privileged to have Tony of Devocean in Ponta D'ouro as our expedition leader, skipper & dive guide !!
His boat is in perfect runnning condition, and Tony is one of the few people on this planet that knows Ponta Dobela really well, having run a camp there some years ago.
Be one of the few people to re-experience what he says is the best diving he has ever seen in all his years diving in Mozambique!!

This is expedition-type diving -an opportunity of a lifetime, very soon, these places will also fall victim to the rampant expansion currently happening in and around Ponta do Ouro and Malongane.
Think of it as a 'Botswana type camping trip' -wiithout the cats (lions)!!!
