Raja Ampat, in the far eastern corner of Indonesia is a group of more than 1300 islands that are virtually undiscovered and under-populated, thankfully free of political turmoil and major natural disasters.
It is here that one finds the world’s richest reefs; an underwater spectacle that is beyond comprehension. Conservation International led expeditions to the area during 2006 where they discovered 52 new species of fish and reef-building coral as well as two new species of sharks!
The region is being hailed the 'epicenter of biodiversity' - the richest reefs on our planet.

TRIP SCHEDULE:
13 day Raja Ampat
29th MAY - 10th JUNE 2008
Thursday 29 May: JNB – Singapore on Singapore airlines.
Friday 30 May: Arrive in Singapore en route to Manado, arrive Manado 13h00, transfer to Tasik Ria Resort
Saturday 31 May: Rest & relaxation (optional diving available in Bunaken National Park
Sunday 1 June: Check out and very early flight from Manado to Sorong; transfer by boat to Kri Eco Resort. (flight time approx. 1,5 hrs and the boat ride 2,5hrs) Check-in at the resort at approx 12h00 ; afternoon dive
7 nights 12 dives in Kri (extra dives can be arranged, at a nominal charge)
Sunday 8 June: Boat Transfer to Sorong at approx 14h00. (there is time for either 1 or 2 morning dives)
Over-night in Sorong. Dinner and breakfast included.
Monday 9 June: Sorong – Manado – Singapore
Arrive Singapore aprox 19h00 Transit approx.5-6 hours; shopping/movies/spa/entertainment etc. available in the airport building.(optional stop-over can be arranged at extra charge)
Tuesday 10 June: 02h00, Singapore – JNB
