After your workshop, the perfect compliment is the Bittenbysharks/Reefteach Sodwana Photography week-end.
If you would like to upgrade your workshop to the PADI Digital Underwater Specialty, this is possible, however you can simply do the photography week-end without doing the specialty. The only requirement, is that you have done the Bittenbysharks workshop with us previously, in order to benefit fully from this trip.
There is an optional Fish ID course presented by the famous Neville Ayeliffe of Reefteach, which is excellent value, and fits perfectly with underwater photography.

NOTES:
Accommodation: The Reefteach house is a luxury house with one part that sleeps 12 people (6 rooms) and another part that sleeps 8 (4 rooms).
Each bedroom is air-conditioned and has a bathroom en-suite; towels are provided.
We have the 12 sleeper for the weekend and there is lots of fridge storage space for your drinks and snacks.
There is a lovely swimming pool for use by the guests.
Breakfast will be provided on the beach between dives (except on Sunday, when a full English breakfast is served at the house after the last dive)
Dinner is served at the house.
Itinerary:
Thursday: Check-in after 2PM, at Reefteach house; dinner will be served.
Friday: Dive 1 & 2, with breakfast on the beach.
1PM until dinner post dive critique of photos, as much individual attention as needed:)
4-6PM Fish ID lecture (if you have selected this option)
Dinner at the house.
Saturday: Dive 3 and 4, with breakfast on the beach.
1PM until dinner: post dive critique of photos, as much individual attention as needed.
4-6PM Fish ID lecture (if you have selected this option)
Dinner at the house.
Sunday: dive 5 and breakfast at the house.
Depart for home:)
Note: Please remember, there is a R20 per person daily 'Park' fee, unless you have a Rhino card.
Fish ID course:
Neville Ayliffe has spent his entire career working with the natural environment. Positions he has held include aquarist at Seaworld, Environmental Education Office for Mkambati Nature Reserve, Research Technician with the Natal Parks Board and Reserve Manager at Nagel Resource Reserve. He became a Scuba Instructor in 1988, when he became involved full time in the diving industry both locally and abroad. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the environment and loves to share this with others. He has run self-designed Coral Reef Environmental Courses for divers since 1988. Neville was one of the founding divers at Sodwana Bay and a good proportion of the regularly dived divesites were discovered end explored by him.
